Would you like to chat online?

The National Dementia Helpline chat service allows you to chat online to a trained Dementia Advisor who can provide support and information about local services if you have a diagnosis of dementia or care for someone who does, as well as general information if you have an interest in dementia and memory loss.
 


International users

National Dementia Helpline is only funded to provide services to people who live in Australia. If you are an Australian living overseas, please email the National Dementia Helpline on helpline.nat@alzheimers.org.au.

Privacy

Only you and the Dementia Advisor can see your online conversation, however we will need to record some of your details for statistical and reporting reasons. For more information about how we use and store your personal information, please read our privacy policy.

Operating hours

The National Dementia Helpline Chat operates from 9.00am to 5.00pm EST Monday to Friday excluding public holidays. Our chat service is not available outside these times however we will contact you the next business day if you:

  2. send us an email now
  3. use our call-back request form
